A custom WordPress theme and modular page builder using advanced custom fields
In 2018 I was hired by Pretty Clever design studio in Bournemouth, to develop a bespoke WordPress theme for Greensphere Capital investments. 🌱💰
The aim of the project was to create an online presence that could talk to the financial investment community.
Director and designer John Burton supplied me with high-fidelity visuals he prototyped in Adobe XD, so I was able to export assets and start the build:
The Greenshpere Capital website is built on Sage and has a CPT (Custom Post Type) created for case studies, where staff can log in to WordPress CMS and upload new investment reports.
Modular page builder
From the XD design, I developed custom page builder modules for meeting the team, story timeline, and core investment sectors.
The page builder is lightweight, streamlined and super simple to use, giving Greensphere the ability to add/remove and restructure content on demand:
I very much enjoyed working on this project within the financial investments sector. John Burton did an awesome job with creative design and identity that tells the story behind the corporate brand.
